We noticed a lot of our clients were Sadhguru followers. I too am Indian and Hindu but have been more inclined towards Osho than Sadhguru. Sadhguru is a devout follower of Shiva one of the cosmic triune. The shaman and I pondered why Lord Shiva had such a big following almost cult like in some places and why did Goddess Lakshmi not have as many followers and as passionate as Shiva’s? And then we received intel. Humans want to ascend so they don’t get stuck in the cosmic loop dance of reincarnation. Because at this point as harsh as this sounds if you’re not ascending, you’re being harvested somewhat. So there’s no choice but to follow ascension. Whereas Lakshmi is known to grant material desires and wishes which can keep you addicted to the comfort of worldly pleasures. Both have their divine gifts and their place in the world nonetheless. But where do you wish to go after your journey on earth?

Everyone in this day and age suffers of some form of addiction whether its bingeing food, alcohol, smoke up, or work when you are consuming it to fill some void, it ends up consuming you. I had to break my illusion of how I saw service to others through my work, when I described how good working made me feel when he questioned if it had become an addiction I almost bypassed his question (which showed I had narrow listening skills) and avoiding the fact that I sounded like a class A drug addict the way I described the reward (or hit) I felt from helping fellow souls along the way. I am aware I am being quite vulnerable and honest with this teaching that transpired to teach me the difference between addiction and devotion. Where your attention flows the energy/intention goes. When you’re devoted to someone or something you’re much less likely to act out of addiction.
One thing the holy plant emphasized so lovingly is wish humans a release rather than happiness because it is from the release you are less attached. Happiness sways more towards ignorance being bliss, but the debauchery can still continue even when you are happy. My team mate gave me a funny example in tandem to this. You might be happy when you cheat on your spouse because its giving some form of pleasure but does it mean they’re doing the right thing just because it makes them momentarily happy?

We got teachings about Golden speech- it pulses non forceful speech through one, if one pushes own beliefs onto someone else it concurs karma because its manipulative or slanted towards a specific outcome…we need wisdom and intellect, not kill it but also don’t get attached to it, you have to be able to drop it to detach from it.

Air drumming is another concept we learned that through banging on air molecules that takes spiritual form turning into matter it can be through dancing…this is a pull for manifestation. Purging through air, the air element, if we want to master the art of manifestation we need to master the air element. Water is used for spiritualization. On that note I would like to leave you to ponder, how do you use your time to devote to yourself? As Osho once said … how can you preach to love thy neighbour if one is not taught to love themselves first…
